I stared into his flamey eyes and blushed. He was cute. "What are you doing in my kingdom human?" The Flame guy spoke, with a straight face as I walked towards the fire castle. "I-I I needed to find you, I need your help" I looked down to the ground and stopped. He looked at me, with the same constant look. "Then I will help you, what's your name?" he finally smiled. I froze there, trapped in his gorgeous smile, "uh um.." 

"Do you not remember your name?" he giggled at me

I blushed and covered my face "What no! My-My name is Fionna!" I finally spoke and reached my hand out for a handshake.

He looked in confusion and then smirked, he reached out and touched my finger, I screamed in pain. "I'm sorry"

"i-im ok.."

"Anyways my name is Flame Prince nice to meet you Fionna" he smiled again. I caught his eyes and suddenly the pain in my fingers went away, I felt comfortable around him. "FIONNA! WHAT THE HELL?"

I heard a familiar voice and turned around, Marshall was flying down towards me and flame prince with a rage in his face. "What do you think your doing? WHY DIDN'T YOU WAIT FOR ME?!?!" 

My eyes widened and I watched as he yelled at me.

"SHUT UP MARSHALL!, it's not her fault! the only person you should be yelling at is me!"

"Fine then, fire head let's fight"

They stood in front of each other, I finally walked in between them and yelled "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU BOTH?!?! JUST SHUT UP AND LET'S ACT MATURE ABOUT THIS! BEFORE I KICK YOU BOTH TO THE ICE KINGDOM!"

I blushed in embarrassment, holy cow I didn't know I had that in me

"Where did that come from" Marshall asked me

I just ignored him and looked at Flame prince, then he nodded. "Follow me" He said. I grabbed Marshall by the arm and followed the Flame prince.

The warmth of her hand around my arm made me sane. What am I talking about? I can't think about being sane now, i'm in the land of fire, and my mother is suspecting me to part take in the ritual soon. Crap. I looked behind me and frowned, damn it I forgot about Flambo. "Here we are, my castle" the Flame prince spoke with pride. Fionna released my arm and I frowned, missing the warmth that came from her fingers. "Cool!" Fionna blurted out and smiled at the flame prince. I looked at them both. Stupid kids. "Alright enough with this lovey dovey, nice guy act Flame Prince. We don't care about your dumb castle, we just need help" I spoke in rage at the sight of how Fionna is totally crushing on this fool. I crossed my arm and looked at Fionna, she had this angry look and I smiled. She looked cute. I mean, no she didn't she looked uh... nevermind. "Very well then, follow me to my chambers, let's talk in private" Flame Prince muttered and walked in the opposite direction of his castle. As Flame prince entered his secret chamber, I grabbed Fionna and looked into her eyes. "I think this is a bad idea" I said.

"What? Why"
"I-I have to tell you something"

Her eyes fluttered open and she stared at me, while biting her bottom lip

"The only reason i'm bringing you to the nightosphere is... because"

"yes...?" 

"I-I..."

I couldn't tell her the truth, I haven't known Fionna very long but I know she's a good person. I don't know if I could do the ritual, I don't know if I could hurt her. But I have to, to make my mother proud. Family comes first.

"What are you two waiting for?" Flame prince yelled from inside the room. I ignored Fionna's eyes and walked passed her. Fionna grabbed my hand and I turned to face her. "Thanks Marshall... for helping me. If you don't want to help me anymore you can just turn around and walk away, right now. I can handle myself." She smiled. I returned the smile and replied "It's okay Fionna, I'll help you till the end".

My eyes watered from the smoke from the arena. I needed to help Gumball escape... but how? I waited out and waited till the crowed gradually parted, and left... Marshall's Mom still clinging to the cage and staring at Gumball, she moved her lips and said something to Gumball which made my hair stand. I didn't know what she was saying, but it sounded cruel. As I see small tears stream down Gumball's face, my heart broke. What is she saying to him? I wanted to know. After a quick second Marshall's Mom left and disappeared into the distance, leaving Gumball behind. Perfect. I can go get him now. I stretched behind rocks and tried to stay hiddened. I eventually got to the cage and whispered "Gumball? Are you okay? I'm here you help y-"

"Just go Cake, find Fionna" 

"W-what? Gumball? I can save you! Ju-"

"Go! there's a book behind this stage, go get it and bring it to me, I'll help you get back to AAA"

"Gumball, what did she say to you?"

"Nothing, just go... just go..." 

I frowned and touched Gumball on the cheek, "Whatever she say's it's not true, you know better Gumball. You can't let her win" 

He nodded and forced a small, but fake smile. "Don't worry about me Cake, I have a plan" 

I jumped up and ran towards the back of the stage, there it was... a book with purple borders and black crested diamonds around it. I couldn't read it, it was in some type of language, but I picked it up and stretched back to Gumball.

"I got it Gumball"

"Good...Good"

"What do I do?"

"Say these exact words...---"
